The Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council is a non-profit 501 (c)(3) corporation formed in 1985 to support programs that enhance public safety and to support first responders killed or injured in the line of duty. We are supported solely by donations from the generosity of the community and its members.

COMMITTED TO COMMUNITY & FIRST RESPONDERS

No other organization is more committed to helping first responders and their families than we are. The Broward Sheriff’s Advisory Council is honored to support first responders in their time of need and works to provide critical resources for innovative programs to make Broward County a safe place to live, visit and work.

FALLEN

FIRST RESPONDERS

Provides funding to families of Broward County First Responders killed or permanently injured while serving in the line of duty.

TECHNOLOGY
& EQUIPMENT

Provides funds to purchase state-of-the-art equipment and cutting edge technology that improves the effectiveness and efficiency of the Broward County Sheriff’s Office in the prevention, identification and investigation of criminal activity.

Supports programs that provide specialized training in order to ensure that Broward Sheriff's Office deputies are instructed in cutting-edge law enforcement tactics and have the highest level of preparation possible for potential natural disasters, terrorist attacks, school violence and gang violence

SPECIALIZED TRAINING

COMMUNITY OUTREACH

Funds programs geared toward strengthening cooperative relationships between First Responders and the many diverse communities of Broward County it serves in order to foster partnership that enhance communication, trust, and public safety

Supports programs that help First Responders build stronger resilience for dealing with challenges, stress and adverse events
